At TOV Siding & Roofing, we were brought in by United Signature to give this four-story infill its striking, modern skin. We installed a full rainscreen assembly clad in James Hardie® Architectural Panels: smooth “Bone White” vertical sheets alternate with deep charcoal fiber-cement lap boards, creating a bold rhythm that visually breaks up the narrow elevation.
Cedar tongue-and-groove soffits warm the palette at every balcony, while black anodized metal trims and custom drip edges deliver razor-sharp shadow lines and long-term weather protection. Up top, we framed and weatherproofed the rooftop deck, finishing it with composite boards and powder-coated steel railings that capture unobstructed treetop and city views. A low-slope TPO roof beneath the deck ties into self-adhered ice-and-water membrane, ensuring a watertight envelope for decades to come.
Low-E black-frame windows puncture the façade, and our paint crew sealed every panel, lap board, and cedar plank with a UV-resistant coating system to keep colors true against Seattle’s wet winters and bright summer sun.
